Dana D. Harold, age 69 of Rootstown, passed away Friday, March 5, 2010, at Robinson Memorial Hospital. He was born July 10, 1940, in Oka, West Virginia, a son of the late Bruce and Willa (McGlothin) Harold. Dana was a veteran of the US Army and retired from St. Gobain in Akron after 37 years of service. He is survived by his beloved wife Karen, whom he married 49 years ago on March 31st. Also survived by his daughters: Kathy Miller of Ravenna, Connie (Nel) Uy of Waldorf, MD, and Melissa Meadows of the United Kingdom; grandson: SSGT Timothy Miller of Cannon AFB, NM; great-grandson: Nicolas Miller of Ravenna; brothers: Coy (Teen) Harold of Ravenna and Larry (Donna) Harold of Grants Pass, OR. He was preceded in death by his brother Donald Harold and his sister Orpha Boston. Friends will be received Wednesday, March 10, 2010, from 5:00 PM until the 6:00 PM funeral service at the Wood-Kortright- Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna.
